
Jan Huisken
Prof. Jan Huisken’s main research interest is in the advancement of non-invasive light sheet microscopy for the systematic study of early development in major model organisms, with the ultimate goal of understanding and describing tissue dynamics on the cellular level. His group primarily investigates organogenesis in zebrafish, with a particular focus on the morphogenesis of the cardiovascular system and endoderm.
