PARTICIPATION IN THE SCIENTIFIC SYMPOSIUM AND OUTREACH ACTIVITIES

DO YOU WANT YOUR ABSTRACT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR A SCIENTIFIC SYMPOSIUM SHORT TALK? *
To give young scientists participating in the ENABLE symposium the opportunity to share their research aims and results, we will select 16 (2 per session) abstract for short talks of 10 minutes each.
PLEASE INDICATE WHETHER YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING IN THE MASTERCLASSES: *
On Thursday 16th and Friday 17th November you will have the opportunity to participate in Masterclasses. An active discussion of 1-2 articles around a central topic of the symposium with one of the keynote speakers.

On Thursday 16th November, we have unique opportunities for meeting celebrated scientists through Tapas with Speakers. In order to book your place an extra fee of 10 € will be charged.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO PARTICIPATE WITH AN OUTREACH MICROTALK? *
You will have the opportunity to disseminate your research among a general audience, in a format of 10 minute talk in pubs and bars of the city. The aim of the activity is to explain in an interactive and informal way the latest advances of your research field to a broad public. To be eligible for this type of talk, you will have to send a summary of 250 words. You are also highly encouraged to submit a one minute video to demonstrate your communication skills. PARTICIPATION IN THE CAREER DAY
The ENABLE Career Day will take place in Barcelona on the 15th of November 2017 and will be one of the core activities of the 1st European PhD and Postdoc Symposium. The aim of the event is to create a common ground where PhD students and postdocs from all over Europe can interact with professionals from different areas to discuss career perspectives beyond the bench. Furthermore, the career day will provide attendees with active training to strengthen the necessary skills to manage effectively their professional development.

Late Bird Registration price for 3-day event (until 30th September):

All registrations include lunch, snacks and refreshment during the breaks.
Travel Grants
If you are travelling from abroad and actively participate in the conference via a poster and/or a short talk, you may be eligible for a travel grant. Please, check the guidelines to complete the travel grant application.
If you wish to apply for a travel grant in addition to the abstract that you have already uploaded please submit in a single pdf document your CV and motivation letter.
To be eligible for a travel grant, all documents must be uploaded by August 15th.
